Terms of Use
These are the rules for using Bible Club. The section on content is the one that matters most — please read it.

1. Who we are
Bible Club is operated by {{COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME}}, {{COMPANY_ADDRESS}} ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. How old you have to be
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bible Club. Where the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using a service like this, that age applies instead — in the European Economic Area this is commonly 16, including in Germany and Croatia. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Bible Club with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
We will close any account we believe belongs to someone below the applicable age.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information, and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself.
- One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone, and do not present yourself as connected with Bible Club, its staff, or a church or organisation you have no connection to.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
4. Content and conduct
Bible Club carries content written by its users. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour, and we act on it.
4.1 What you may not post
You may not post, send or share anything that:
- harasses, threatens, bullies or intimidates another person;
- attacks or demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age;
- is sexually explicit, or sexualises a minor in any way;
- depicts, promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, suicide or an eating disorder;
- promotes illegal activity, or the sale of drugs, weapons or counterfeit goods;
- is spam, a scam, a phishing attempt, or a bulk unsolicited message;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark or other rights;
- shares another person's private information without their permission;
- impersonates another person or organisation;
- contains malware, or is intended to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.
4.2 What we do about it
- Filtering. An automated filter runs on every comment before it is stored, and on usernames, display names, bios and club names as they are set or changed.
- Reporting. Every comment, profile, message and club can be reported from inside the app, in two taps.
- Blocking. You can block any user. A block is enforced by our servers, in both directions, across comments, the feed, direct messages, club chat, follows and notifications — not merely hidden in your app.
- Response time. We aim to review every report within 24 hours and to remove offending content and eject the user responsible.
- Consequences. We may remove content, suspend an account, or permanently ban a person from Bible Club, at our discretion, and without notice where the behaviour is serious.
4.3 By posting, you agree to these terms
Posting content in Bible Club constitutes your agreement to this section. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users, and we may remove either at any time.
5. Who owns what
You keep ownership of everything you write. By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display it within Bible Club, for the purpose of running the service — including showing it to the people you posted it to, and including it in the daily digest. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already delivered to other people (a direct message you sent, for instance) and for backup copies that expire on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
The Bible Club app, its name and its design are ours. The biblical texts in the app are public-domain translations or are used under the licence stated on the app's Credits screen.
6. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time — in the app under Settings, or from this website. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop operating the service. We will give reasonable notice where we can.
7. The service is provided as it is
We work to keep Bible Club available and correct, but it is provided "as is" and without warranties, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
8. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of {{GOVERNING_LAW}}. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Bible Club after that means you accept the new terms.
